Michael A. Green
Mike represents individuals as well as small and medium sized businesses in a variety of matters including but not limited to
commercial disputes, insurance coverage, transfers of annuity streams and personal injury matters.
Mike opened his own office as a solo practitioner in 2001 and his practice has grown steadily. He has successfully litigated matters
as diverse as a yacht dealer / manufacturer dispute, bad faith insurance claims, a paragliding accident, an action by a real estate partnership
against its general partner for losing the partnership's primary asset and suits by assignees of revenue streams against individuals and entities
who have wrongfully appropriated them.
In addition to his other practice areas, Mike also frequently consults with summer camps regarding legal and business related issues.
Mike has been repeatedly recognized as a Rising Star in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers publications and he and partner
Joe Silverstein were featured in Leap of Faith,
an article about young lawyers who started their own law firms.
Mike graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 and the Villanova University School of Law in 1994.
He is a member of all Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal bars as well as the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mike is involved in several charity and community organizations. He lives happily in Philadelphia with his wife Nancy and their children
Abby, Matt and Jake. There is no room in the house for a dog.
Joe represents individuals and corporations, focusing on general and commercial litigation, insurance and transactional work.
Prior to the formation of Green, Silverstein & Groff, Joe maintained his own practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
From 1994 to 2004, he was associated with the law firms Manta & Welge and Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling.
From 2000-2009, Joe was a member of the adjunct faculty at Villanova University School of Law where he taught a class in Pennsylvania state
and federal civil pre-trial practice and procedure. He has served as a volunteer attorney with a number of local pro bono organizations; was a member
of Alumni Association Board of Directors of Widener University School of Law; and was a Board member and Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors of SeniorLAW
Center, a nonprofit that protects the legal rights and interests of seniors in need.
Joe has published numerous articles on insurance and construction issues and has participated in a number of seminars for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute
and the National Business Institute.
While in law school, Joe completed a one year clerkship for The Honorable Richard A. Powers, III, Chief United States Magistrate Judge for the United
States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
From 2005-2008, Joe was recognized as a "Rising Star" in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers publications and he and partner

an article about young lawyers who started their own law firms.
In 2008, Joe was selected as a "Lawyer on the Fast Track" by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly, an honor awarded only to 35 Pennsylvania
lawyers under the age of 40.
Joe has been appointed as a Special Counsel to Haddon Township in New Jersey where he sits as a hearing officer in connection with disciplinary cases
involving Township employees and serves a committee person for Abington Ward 7-1 of the Abington-Rockledge Democratic Committee in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Joe graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1991 and Widener University School of Law in 1994. He is a member of all Pennsylvania and New Jersey
state and federal bars as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; the United States Court of Federal Claims; and the United States
Supreme Court. Joe lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and two daughters.
Josh's practice includes plaintiff and defense tort litigation as well as general commercial representation.
Josh was an attorney at the Law Offices of Michael A. Green, P.C. for four years prior to the formation of Green, Silverstein & Groff, LLC.
From 2000 to 2004 Josh was associated with Dilworth Paxson, LLP in the commercial litigation group.
Josh has trial experience in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts, and has handled matters in the federal courts as well.
Josh also has substantial arbitration experience and sits as an arbitrator in the Arbitration Program for the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Court of Common Pleas.
Josh is a 1997 cum laude graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and completed its Honors and Scholar program.
In 2000 he graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law. At law school, Josh completed Temple's nationally renown trial advocacy program
and was published in Temple's International and Comparative Law Journal.
In 2008 Josh was recognized as a "Rising Star" in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star edition. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.
Josh lives in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with his wonderful wife Sandi and their children Alex and Anna.
Jeffrey represents and counsels individual and corporate clients in a wide range of complex business and employment matters. He has litigated cases
involving commercial, employment, professional liability and personal injury claims in both state and federal courts and has advised companies in a variety of
commercial transactions. Jeffrey has extensive trial and arbitration experience, including sole responsibility for trying several matters to jury verdict.
Prior to joining Green, Silverstein & Groff, LLC, Jeffrey served as an Assistant District Attorney for the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania and
spent several years in private practice as a civil litigator. For the last several years, he has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star by Law
and Politics Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine, an honor reserved for Pennsylvania's top up-and-coming attorneys.
Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate from the James E. Beasley School of Law at
Temple University, where he was Managing Editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Journal. He has served as a Team Leader for the Investigative Division of
Philadelphia Bar Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, frequently sits as a Arbitrator for the Court of the Common Pleas of the First
Judicial District of Pennsylvania, and was selected to the 2008 Pro Bono Roll of Honor.
Jeffrey is a member of the state bars of Pennsylvania of New Jersey and is also admitted to federal practice in the Eastern and
Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Jeffrey lives in the Philadelphia region with his wife, Elissa, and his son, Jay.
Meaghan represents individuals and corporations focusing on employment and general commercial matters. Meaghan currently serves as the principal legal advisor
for two Mid-Atlantic companies that specialize in the sale and distribution of industrial automation components.
Meaghan has represented clients in both state and federal courts as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations
Commission and the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations. Meaghan has provided counsel to employers throughout the Philadelphia region on employment issues
including discrimination, employee handbook policies and restrictive covenants.
Prior to joining Green, Silverstein & Groff, LLC, Meaghan was an associate in the Litigation and Employment Law Departments at Dilworth Paxson, LLP in Philadelphia.
She received her J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law and was the Associate Editor of its Women's Law Forum. While in law school,
she served as a law clerk for the Hon. Peter B. Scuderi of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Meaghan received her B.A.
degree in Political Science and minors in Philosophy and General Business from Villanova University.
Meaghan is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also a member of the Justinian Society.
Meaghan sits on the Board of Directors for the Mount Saint Joseph Academy Alumnae Association.
